The online EPFO “Member e-Sewa” portal offers various services to the provident fund members such as activation of UAN, updating KYC, view/download/printing the EPF passbook, claiming withdrawal of amount from the fund. Through this article, we can avail the information in regards to logging in to the EPF portal.
The member needs to register on the EPFO Member e-Sewa portal and activate his UAN before logging in to his account. UAN stands for Universal Account Number, which is a 12-digit unique number provided to all the members of EPF.
For such purpose, the member must follow the below-mentioned steps:
After UAN gets activated, the user will get a password on the same mobile number to sign in to the online EPFO account.
Login to EPFO portal “for Employees”:
Step 1: Visit the EPFO website.
Step 2: Click on the 'Services' tab. Then select the 'For Employees' option.
Step 3: Go to the left side corner of the page and select ‘Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP)’ under the heading ‘Services’.
Step 4: Next, the login page will appear. The member needs to enter his UAN, password, and Captcha.
Step 5: Then click on the 'Sign in’ button.
Step 6: The member has successfully logged in to his account and can access the available services on such a website. After login, some of the services available to the member are claiming the PF amount, updating their KYC details, checking the PF amount, etc.
Login to EPFO portal “for Employers”:
Step 1: Visit https://unifiedportal-emp.epfindia.gov.in/epfo/ Step 2: The employer must enter the username and password. Then click on the 'Sign in’ button.
Step 3: The employer has now successfully logged into his account.
