Documents Required Before Applying For Delhi Ration Card

To apply for the Delhi ration card online, the Applicant needs to possess the following documents:-

4. Telephone Bill
5. House Rent receipt

Online Application- Process

An applicant needs to visit the official site (link- https://nfs.delhigovt.nic.in/) to apply for the ration card online. The step by step procedure has been discussed in the ensuing points:-

1. The applicant needs to Login to the abovementioned official website of the Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Affairs of Delhi. 
2. After logging in, the applicant needs to click on the “Application Form” for getting food security- under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), 2013.
3. After clicking on the link for Application Form, the applicant needs to fill out the details given in the form- such as Aadhar No., Name, Address, Phone No., etc.
4. After filling in all the mandatory details and uploading all the documents, the applicant needs to click on “Apply Online”.
5. After the application has been submitted, a reference number will be given- which can be taken down and used to track the application status of the ration card.

2. Click on ‘Citizen’s Corner’ on the right-hand side section of the website.
3. Click on ‘Track Food Security Application’.

7. NFS Application ID and Online Citizen ID
8. Old ration card number

Download Your Ration Card

After the completion of due process, you may download the e-ration card from the official website. The steps to download your ration card are as follows:-

1. The applicant needs to visit the official website of the Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Delhi Government.
2. Click on ‘Citizen’s Corner’ on the right-hand side section of the website.
3. Click on ‘Generate e-card’.
4. Fill in the details that are required to be entered by the applicant, such as:-

• Aadhar number of the applicant
• Date of birth of the applicant
• Registered mobile number

5. After submitting, you will be able to see your e-ration card on the screen. Click on ‘download’ to download your Delhi Ration Card.
