Step Three: The calculation of the registration charges and stamp duty is done based on the details of the sub-registrar office, which is placed within the property jurisdiction by clicking on e-Valuation.
Step Four: Buy e-stamp paper from Stock Holding Corporation of India as per the calculated value in the previous step. You can pay the registration fee online, click on the option of e-registration.

Step Five: An appointment is fixed at the sub-registrar office within the property jurisdiction in Delhi.

Step Six: The objective of the appointment is displayed on the home page. Here, you require to give consent by clicking on "Yes" from the dropdown. This confirms that the documents such as e-stamp paper, e-registration receipt, etc., are prepared.

Step Seven: The e-stamp duty number is entered to confirm the payment. After completing the verification process, an appointment will be fixed at the sub-registrar office. A person shall receive an e-mail and message confirmation regarding the appointment.

Step Eight: Visit the sub-registrar office on the allocated date and time and bring all the required documents for property registration in Delhi. 

What are the required documents to be carried?

  • Original identification document of the buyer and seller

  • Passport size photographs of both parties - Buyer and seller

  • Original and photocopies of the property documents

  • E-stamp paper and E-registration receipt

  • If the concerned property is agricultural land, an NOC (No Objection Certificate) is required from the concerned authority.

  • Identification documents of two witnesses, such as PAN card, Aadhaar card etc.

  • if the transaction is above Rs. 50,000, a self-attested copy of pan card or Form 60.
