The Trademark Act, 1999 provides for Classification of Goods and Services under Section 7 of the Act. According to this section, The Registrar shall classify goods and services, as far as may be, in accordance with the International classification of goods and services for the purposes of registration of trademarks. The Trademark Law allows to file a trademark application in the following ways:

The Trademark Registry has classified the goods and services according to the 10th Edition of Nice Classification of Goods and Services. The Nice Classification administered by WIPO in 1957.
Legal services; security services for the protection of property and individuals; personal and social services rendered by others to meet the needs of individuals.
