LLP Rules

Limited Liability Partnership Rules, 2009 enhances the viability of the LLP Act, 2008, by enumerating stepwise rules from incorporation till the dissolution of an LLP.

Limited Liability Partnership Rules, 2009 were introduced to streamline the provisions contained in the LLP Act,2008.

Rules which are applicable in the Incorporation process of LLP.

 

Rule Number Chaper Purpose
Rule 10 Chapter III of LLP rules 2009 Director Identification Number is a unique code which is obtained by all the designated partners at the time of incorporation.
Rule 18 Chapter IV of LLP Rules 2009 Name Reservation is filed in LLP-1 form. The applicant must apply for a unique name which is not registered with the MCA before in any form of business entity.
Rule 11 & 13 Chapter IV of LLP Rules 2009 Incorporation of LLP is filed in LLP-2 form. It is the main procedure which contains details of the LLP along with the consent of the partners.
Rule 21 Chapter V of LLP Rules 2009 LLP Agreement is submitted, which contains the terms and conditions, Profit sharing ratio, Contribution etc.
