Abstract: A positioning mechanism of a zipper slide for engaging or disengaging two lengths of teeth on two opposite teeth tapes (30) is disclosed, which includes: a main body (20) having a buckling portion (201), a plane surface (206), a recess (203), and a support portion (202) formed thereon, wherein a positioning member (21) positioned on the buckling portion (201) lof the main body (20), wherein the positioning member (21) has a locking part (212), which can insert into the recess (203) of the main body (20), formed in one end of the positioning member (21); a pull tab unit (24) for facilitating the manipulation of lpulling the zipper slide, wherein the pull tab unit (24) has a beam (241) that is placed on the plane surface (206); and a lid (23) connected with a top lsurface of the main body (20) and covering the buckling portion (201), the plane surface (206), the recess (203), lthe support portion (202), the positioning portion, and the front of the pull tab unit (24).
