Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention is dedicated towards finding the perfect substitute for the pan masala, when consumed will give identical taste, smell, sense of chewing and mental relaxation as the conventional pan masala, but instead of causing serious harms to the body it will be healthy for the mouth and the body and will also help increase overall physical wellness and immunity power.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Chewing of Pan Masala and tobacco is a common habit among people of all ages now a days. Especially in countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia and Arab countries has highest consumption rates of PAN MASALA which is a harmful and unhealthy product.
Knowing the various harmful effects of consuming these products, still the people are not able to give up mainly due to the taste, smell, mental satisfaction. But with the increasing number of cases of mouth cancers in the country there is a need of finding a perfect substitute for these products which helps in removing difficulties among PAN MASALA users in giving-up.

Gutka is a mixture of areca nut with slaked lime, catechu, tobacco and other flavoring agents. It is widely available and used by all the sections of society. It is genotoxic as it increases sister chromatin exchange and chromatin aberrations.
Among humans, it is a leading cause of oral submucous fibrosis that often progresses to oral cancer. Among experimental animals, it leads to neoplastic- lesions in lung, liver and stomach. It is hepatotoxic leading to increased level of enzymes, deranged carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. It is harmful to kidneys and testes leading to increased creatinine and sperm deformities respectively.
Areca nut, the seed of Arecacatechu is the fourth most common addictive substance in this world. It is primarily consumed in South-East Asia, Taiwan and Papua New Guinea and is a leading cause of oral cancers in these regions.
Zarda / PAN MASALA use is rampant in India by all the sections and age groups of the society. It has emerged as a major cause of oral cancer in India. National Family Health Survey-2 showed that 21% of people over 15 years of age consumed pan masala, gutka or PAN MASALA. Study in the state of Tamil Nadu showed that the age at which people start consuming areca nut products ranges from 12 to 70 years. 58% of the survey subjects chewed the products more than twice a day. Advertising tobacco products including pan masala containing tobacco is banned in India since May 1, 2004. To bypass this ban tobacco companies are advertising pan masala ostensibly without tobacco, heavily in all forms of media. Pan Masala is surrogate for tobacco products as the money spent on marketing, and

advertising is many times of the revenue generated from the sales. In Mumbai after the ban, the sale reduced and the percentage of users quitting and reducing the habit was 23.53% and 55.88% respectively. The main reason of quitting and reduction in consumption was nonavailability of these products. In spite of the ban gutka was still available but in different forms or at increased cost. Strict law in the form of cigarettes and other tobacco products act 2003 has been made in India, but the enforcement and compliance is lax. There is a need for alternate solution to the PAN MASALA. The consumers should also be made aware of the harmful effects of pan masala as they are under a false impression that it is not harmful.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to make an herbal substitute to the conventional pan masala available commercially in the market.
Yet another object of the proposed invention is to provide an alternative to the people who wants to leave the habit of pan masala.
Still another object of the invention is to make the taste of the product identically similar to conventional pan masala.
Still another object of the invention is to help in treating the cancer patients affected by pan masala and tobacco.

Figure 3 describes ingredients and processing for Flavoring and Essence.
Figure 4 describes processing and obtaining final product.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The current invention is dedicated to the formation of herbal compound when consumed will give identical taste and sense as the conventional pan masala.
The procedure of obtaining such a replacement, the conventional pan masala is divided into different ingredients from which it is made. Then herbal substitutes are developed for each of these ingredients which will further be mixed with each other adopting the same technique as of the conventional product.
The Figure 1 describes ingredients and processing for Beetle-nut Substitute.
4aayfal, Vedarikand, Lodh, satavari, baheda, & kulanjan are used to form a mixture with appropriate quantities mentioned in the figure. Then, this mixture is processed to diminish its flavor and smell. After that, this mixture is went through a drying process to eliminate the mist. The mixture is blended with another component which is Pomegrante seeds undergone through the process of cleaning, drying, and mist removal. There after applying the screening process we get the final ingredient A.
The Figure 2 describes ingredients and processing for Catechu Substitute.
Here, Neemchaal, Lodh, Sonageru, & Khaichaal are converted into fine powder separately. Then, these are mixed in appropriate ratios to get mixture B1. After that, this mixture is went through a process for cleaning

and diminishing taste and smell. Then, this mixture is mixed with water to form a solution of appropriate concentration. This is the ingredient B.
The third figure above shows the process of developing Ingredient C which is the substitute for Lime.
Here, Seed powder and Ghiya patthar are converted into fine powder and then mixed together to get C1. After that, this goes through a process of cleaning and diminishing the taste and smell. Again, it is used to mix with the water to get a solution. Hence we get the ingredient C.
The fourth figure above shows the process of developing Ingredients D1 and D2 which are the substitutes for flavors and essences.
Here Kesar, Saunf, Chandan & Elaichi are used to form the ingredient D1 through process as shown in the figure.
Similarly, Extracts of Ashwagandha & Mint, Extracts of Rose & Mulaithi are used to form the Ingredient D2.
The fifth figure above shows the process of developing Ingredient E which is the substitute for miscellaneous elements.
Here, A mixture of heengh, Koch ke beej, jaavitri, dalchini, vedarikand, chairaita, ajwain, saunth, chandi, pudina, tez patta, nagar matha, gundichaal, poshad dana, naag kesar, chandan and other elements, is prepared taking appropriate quantities. Hence, we get the ingredient E.
Comparison of these elements with the conventional product.
