"Imd" Make Blue P3 R Reactive Powder For Printing On Cloth By Hot Process.

Abstract: A firm known as M/s. I.M. DYE CHEM, based at AHMEDABAD (Gujarat) has first time invented Reactive Powder Blue P3R indigenously through its constant Research & Development for many years The promoter of this firm is engaged in family business of dyes and chemicals since last few decades. Reactive Powder Blue P3R is manufactured from different types of chemicals in reaction vessel by applying steam at specific temperature and pressure and filtration method. Reactive Powder Blue P3R is used for printing of cotton cloth by screen printing machine by hot process. These dyes are applied under strong alkaline condition at high temperature of application compared to cold dyes. These dyes contain very good fastness property to wash; light etc. and also more self life compared to other dyes. The most important characteristic of Reactive Powder Blue P3R is the formation of covalent bonds with the substrate to be colored i.e. the dyes forms a chemical bond with cellulose which is the main component of cotton fiber. The market demand of Reactive Powder Blue P3R is very high in under developed countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Middle East. Thus there remains a considerable need for Reactive Powder Blue P3R in the market for dyeing industry.

COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS
OF REACTIVE POWDER BLUE P3R
Title of Invention: "Reactive Powder Blue P3R" Background of Invention:
Archaeological evidence shows that, particularly in India and the Middle East, dyeing has been carried out for over 5000 years. The dyes were obtained from animal, vegetable or mineral origin, with no or very little processing. By far the greatest source of dyes has been from the plant kingdom, notably roots, berries, bark, leaves and wood, but only a few have ever been used on a commercial scale.
The firm known as M/s. I.M. DYE CHEM based at AHMEDABAD (Gujarat) have first time invented Reactive Powder Blue P3R indigenously through its constant Research & Development for many years. The promoter of firm is from chhipa community of India who are engaged in family business of printing job since last few decades.
Existing Problem:
The synthetic dyes are available in international market since many years. However, the quality of this dye is not satisfactory. The actual users of this dye were facing main problem of Bleeding. Moreover, the imported base material is costlier apart from bleeding problem.

Because of bleeding problem, the quality of dyed cotton cloth material was deteriorated resulting in dullness in printing after short span of period.
The customer had to be dependent on imported material and this imported material was also not available up to the satisfaction of customers. If the customers intend to purchase imported material in bulk this purpose was also not fulfilled due to the reduced self-life of imported material.
Hence, there was a need for invention of a suitable dye material in the country.
Solution for Problems:
Reactive Powder Blue P3R is invented by manufactured from different types of chemicals in reaction vessel by applying steam at specific temperature and pressure and filtration method followed by spray drying process as per requirements.
Manufacturing Process: (Brief)
1] Take water lOOOLit in the vessel
2] Add EBAMSA + 4NADPSA + Bi-Chromate (As per Requirement)
3] After one day (24Hrs) apply steam to above mixture in Reaction Vessel
4] After One Hour Add Iron Powder + PA2SA and mix the solution homogenously by using Stirrer.

5] Pouring of solution in Filter Press for making cake
6] After testing cake Add Cynuric Acid powder and BDSA in water
7] After Spray Drying process for 12 Hrs - Crude powder (Reactive Powder P3R) is obtained
8] Blending process for exact concentration of Reactive Powder Blue
P3R as per customer's requirements
Application:
Reactive Powder Blue P3R is used for printing of cotton cloth by screen printing machine by hot process. These dyes are applied under strong alkaline condition at high temperature of application compared to cold dyes.
Advantages:
01] The Reactive Powder Blue P3R contains very good fastness property to wash, light etc. and more self life compared to other dyes.
02] The market demand for Reactive Powder Blue P3R is very high in under developed countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Middle East countries. Thus there remains a considerable demand in the market for Reactive Powder Blue P3R
03] The Reactive Powder Blue P3R imparts very sharp printing on cotton cloth

04] The Reactive Powder Blue P3R binds chemically to the cotton textile fiber significantly improving the product's color brightness, stability and wash ability
05] One of the most important characteristics of Reactive Powder Blue P3R is formation of covalent Bond with the substrate to be colored i.e. the dye forms a chemical bond with cellulose which is the main component of cotton fiber
06] The Reactive Powder Blue P3R exhibit good strength and solubility in water and can be applied suitably to cotton fabric
07] The Reactive Powder Blue P3R provides excellent color fastness to cotton fabric
08] The Reactive Powder Blue P3R has been invented having more self life for storage and use
09] The Reactive Powder Blue P3R has been invented in such a method and system that it Provides Consistency in quality of the product
10] The Reactive Powder Blue P3R is invented having novelty of cost effectiveness in commercial Utilization of product
11] Invention of the Reactive Powder Blue P3R is an import substitute saving foreign exchange of country
