Abstract: Present invention provides biodegradable cow dung collector bag that can be used for efficient collection of dung in the collection bag directly, and transportation of dung to biogas plants.. The collection bag is attached to the opening area of the animal for the dung collection. It is a small, light and animal friendly bag. The bag is made up of biodegradable material so that it can be disposed directly to the waste storage sites, as a fertilizer or in the biogas digesters.
FIELD OF INVENTION:
The present invention relates to the field of a manure collection bags. The present
invention in particular relates to biodegradable cow dung collector bag.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART:
In the process of keeping pets, the owner needs to clean the pet defecate time to
time for maintaining the pet. hygiene, protection of environmental health etc.
which results in the increase in labor for the owner. Various kinds of tools and
excretion bags are being developed for collection of excretion of pets to help the
owner. Reference may be made to the following-
Publication No. CN1157110 (C) relates to an installation or can be worn on the
family pets, especially dogs, used to collect its excretion.
Publication No. WO2008014088 (A2) relates to the sanitary collection and
disposal of animal feces and whose basic principles are to intercept the feces with
a bag before it reaches the ground, and provide a sanitary manner to seal and
dispose of the bag.
Publication No. CN20I657688 (U) relates to an animal feces-collecting bag,
which belongs to the environment protection class. The animal feces-collecting
bag mainly comprises a bag body which can load animal feces, the bag body is
provided with sticking areas, which can be correspondingly stuck when the bog
body is folded, a bag mouth of the bag body is provided with a mouth-sealing
part, furthermore, both sides of the bag mouth are provided with sticking pails
which can be mutually stuck together, and the sticking parts can be stuck around
the excreting part of an animal. When the animal excretes feces, the feces can be
directly excreted into the bag body, meanwhile, the bag body is unfolded, a user
tears the bag away from the animal after loading, the bag mouth is sealed by the
mouth-sealing part, consequently, the feces-loading action is finished, and
afterwards, because the bag body is made of degradable material, the user can
directly throw the bag into a closestool or a flowering shrub to let the bag be selfdegraded.

Thus, in the past, efforts have been made to develop excretion collection .bags, for
various animals. Cow dung which is a good source of methane, a green house gas
can be collected and used as an alternate fuel. Population of Cattle, which is now,
roughly 25 percent of India's Human population, has led to serious problem of
.storing.the dung waste. There are not enough cattle shelters to accommodate all,
which leads to the open spilling of dung onto the streets. This is leading 10 some
serious problems like emission of GHGs from dung, sanitation and animal health
issues. Like buffaloes, sheep, and goats, cows excrete high quantities of methane,
a green house gas (GHG) capable of trapping 21 times heat more than carbon
dioxide that irretrievably escapes into the atmosphere and leads to Climate
Change. It is estimated that about 300 million cattle have potential to generate
about 18,240 M m3 of biogas annually. Biogas from cattle dung is the sustainable
& economic solution and an option for mitigating & adaptation of Climate
Change, especially in Indian context.
Thus, present invention aims to provide biodegradable cow dung collector bag
that can be used for efficient collection of dung and transportation of dung to
biogas plants directly.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
The principal object of the present invention is to provide biodegradable cow
dung collector bag that can be used for efficient collection of dung and
transportation of dung to biogas plants directly.
Another object of the pjresejnt ijiyentipnjsto_.pr.o.v.i.de.-help i n-ma-inta-ininghygienic -
environment around the cattle and for the man force maintaining the area, as they
will not have direct contact with the dung.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide dung collector bags made
up of biodegradable plastic.
Still another object of the present invention is to reduce labor of the cattle owner.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
Present invention provides biodegradable cow dung collector bag that can be used
for efficient collection of dung in the collection bag directly and transportation of
dung to biogas plants. The collection bag is attached to the opening area of the
animal for the dung collection. It is a small, light and animal friendly bag. The
bag is made up of biodegradable material so that it can be disposed directly to the
waste storage sites, as a fertilizer or in the biogas digesters.
These collection bags have a model similar to dung collection wallet but the inner
layer is replaceable and made up of biodegradable plastic. This layer is removed
every time after the dung is collected with the fresh layer. And the dung collected
in the biodegradable bag can be disposed to the biogas digesters, where it will
breakdown into gases like methane and carbon dioxide and the remaining portion
will mix down with the slurry which can be used as a organic manure in the
agricultural fields. Also these collection bags once filled with the dung can be
transferred to composting units or pits.
The benefits of biodegradable dung collection bags are that it will help in efficient
collection and transportation of dung to the site. No extra waste will be generated
due to biodegradable quality of the bag. It will break down into organic material.
It will help in maintaining hygienic environment around the cattle and for the man
force maintaining the area, as they will not have direct contact with the dung.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS:
Cow dung biodegradable collection bag according to the.present invention is for
collecting the dung in the collection bag directly and is made up of biodegradable
material so that it can be disposed directly to the waste storage sites, as a fertilizer
or in the biogas digesters. This collection bag is attached to the opening area of
the animal for the dung collection. This will be a small, light and animal friendly
bag. These collection bags have a model similar to dung collection wallet but the
inner layer is replaceable and made up of biodegradable plastic. This layer is
removed every time after the dung is collected with the fresh layer and the dung
collected in the biodegradable bag is disposed to the biogas digesters, where it
breaks down into gases like methane and carbon dioxide and the remaining
portion mixes down with the slurry which can be used as a organic manure in the
agricultural fields. Also these collection bags once filled with the dung are
transferred to composting units or pits.
The benefits of biodegradable dung collection bags are that these help in efficient
collection and transportation of dung to the site. No extra waste is generated due
to biodegradable quality of the bag. It breaks down into organic material. It helps
in maintaining hygienic environment around the cattle and for the man force
maintaining the area, as they do not have direct contact with the dung.
Numerous modifications and adaptations of the system of the present
invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art, and thus it is intended
by the appended claims to cover all such modifications and adaptations
which fall within the true spirit and scope of this invention.
